Objective

EYEE ERASMUS +

Entrepreneurship Education based on Ethics for youngsters in the European schools

Today in Europe 4.5 million young people, aged 15-24 years, are unemployed. Work, economy and labour market change fast and to be an employee now and in the future cannot always be a possible choice.

Europe 2020 strategy identifies entrepreneurship and self-employment as key to create jobs, developing skills and giving unemployed young people an opportunity to fully participate to the growth of economy and the improvement of society.

Entrepreneurial skills and attitudes are strategic for young people. Despite of this, no european country has fully integrated entrepreneurship education in the education planning system of each government. Only 11 European school system education planning in 28 have a specific strategy on entrepreneurship education.

EYEE intends to broaden and strengthen at European level the local experience of EYE - Ethics and Young Entrepreneurs - an Italian programme for the promotion of ethical youth entrepreneurship born in Prato and in Florence in 2012.

The aim of the project is to help to spread the entrepreneurial culture based on ethics among young people through the fundamental role of the school in a European dimension.

Europe need  a greater number of young people who are willing and able to become successful entrepreneurs.

To build a successful business today and tomorrow, ethics is essential.  In this sense, success is not only an economic value, which is fundamental and without which we can not talk about doing business but is creating value for workers, stakeholders, the social and natural environment in which the business grows and wants to thrive in the long run.

EYEE will create an e-learning  training programme on Ethical Entrepreneurship and a networking platform for youngsters to get in touch with entrepreneurs, professionals and mentors.

The project gained  the European Call Erasmus + (Key action 2 - Strategic partnerships for innovation) and will last until September 2019.
